Coolidge PTO Meeting This Thursday
The March meeting of the Coolidge PTO will take place this Thursday from 9:15am – 10:00am in the MPR. Hope to see you all there!

Science Fair – Registration Closes Soon!
Please read the following message from our PTO Science Fair chairs, Marissa Abruzzo and Kerri Norcia:
The Coolidge School PTO Science Fair is open to all scientists in grades K-5 on March 13, 2024, from 6:30-7:30 in the MPR. Discover your inner Einstein and start planning your experiments to display & present in the Multipurpose Room. You can present an experiment by yourself, with a friend, or in a small group.
Scientists typically create a trifold board (supplied by you) with their experiment to showcase on a table in the MPR. Scientists will stay at their table during the fair
to present their findings, but will have time to explore the other projects in the room.
Do not use anything valuable at your table. The room will be busy and we wouldn’t want anything of value to be misplaced. Also, please remember that no flammables or dry ice are permitted to be used.
Use your imagination, be creative and most importantly, have fun!
Participation is easy! Fill out the form linked below, create your experiment, and set up your project on March 13th after school. Come to the fair that evening to showcase your project and visit other scientist’s stations!
Sign up no later than March 8.
Just a reminder, this is not a drop off event. A parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the event. Please contact Marissa Abruzzo (marissaza@gmail.com) or Kerri Norcia (kf169@yahoo.com) with any questions.
Read Across America Week Starts Tomorrow!
Mrs. Needleman has organized some really fun ways to celebrate Read Across America Week!

The PTO is excited to join in the fun by sponsoring a visit from local author and Coolidge alum, Robert Skead on Friday. We’re excited about this visit and grateful for the support of our PTO community, which made this possible.
Economy Shop
Thank you to all the Coolidge parents who lent a hand at the Economy Shop last week!
Volunteers are needed all throughout the year. Please continue to volunteer to help out.
We’re also in need of managers!! It’s all the same volunteer work except you get to choose the music and use the scanner! Contact Ashley if you’re interested in manager training.
Thank you SO MUCH for all your help in keeping the Economy Shop open and running smoothly. We’re 100% volunteer run, and 100% of the profits go back to our schools.
Lunch Volunteers Needed on Mondays and Wednesdays
We appreciate the enthusiastic response to our call for lunch volunteers! We can use a few more parents to jump in and help out on Mondays and Wednesdays. All help is extremely appreciated!
Volunteers for 3-5th grade are especially needed on both days, so please consider taking the time to come help out.
Theme Day
Are you looking for supplies for your Theme Day room? Or, do you have extra items from previous years that another group can use? If so, please post your items or ISO requests on our Coolidge PTO Facebook page.
