Bagel and PIzza Lunch This Week!
Jersey Mike's and Bagel lunch starts tomorrow and Pizza and Ice Cream lunch begins on Wednesday. Here is a school lunch calendar which details all lunch service dates for the school year.
PTO Registration Reminder
Our membership lists are being finalized for publication in the directory. Please don't forget to register for the PTO, pay your annual dues, and update your PTOffice profile by September 22nd. Please make sure that your children's grades and homerooms are current as well.

Literati Book Fair at Coolidge!
When and Where: Online shopping opens September 15th @ literati.com/stores.
In person shopping will take place in the multi-purpose room on October 9th and 10th. Your child will have a designated time to attend the fair with their class. This calendar will be shared by your classroom teacher. The fair will be open the evening of October 9th for family shopping during the PTO meeting from 6-7:30pm. We will also have babysitting available this evening. Come shop and attend the PTO meeting while your child has a blast in the art room!
How much $$: You can buy a digital gift card for your child (think Scholastic digital wallet) @ literati.com/store/product/gift-card/. This is held digitally and cashiers will access this for your child’s purchase on the day of the book fair. You can also send your child with cash or a check. Don’t forget to include a little extra for TAX. We suggest browsing the attached catalog or the online selections so you can estimate how much money to send in with your child.
Teacher Wish List: This year teachers will create wish lists and you will have the opportunity to purchase a book for any teacher. What a wonderful gesture of literacy love! We will send out live links for teacher wish list purchasing in the PTO weekend e-blasts after September 15th, and will have Teacher Wish List titles available for each teacher during in person shopping October 15th and 16th.

The lunch volunteer sign-up is active! PLEASE sign-up to help keep our Monday/Wednesday PTO-sponsored lunches a success!

And NEW this year - you can keep track of all your sign-ups, right on the PTO website! Click on your profile (on the upper right corner) and click on 'my signup receipts'! In addition, we will be sending reminder emails within 48 hours prior to your assigned day.
- Volunteering is EASY! We've streamlined the process even further! Plus, there will be an assigned 5th grade representative who will act as manager, volunteering alongside you. Lunchtime volunteering is a great opportunity to help out, and also meet new people in the community. Plus, it's an opportunity to see your kids while they're still excited to see you!

Golf Outing
Let's swing into a great school year and come join us on the greens for the 7th Annual Coolidge PTO Golf Outing on Wednesday October 16th, 2024 at The Club at Mansion Ridge in Monroe, NY. (Please note date and venue change) We are excited to once again host this fun outing to bring together members of our community.

Harvest Fest Committee Announcements
Harvest Fest is taking place on Thursday, October 24th immediately after dismissal at Coolidge.

Economy Shop
Welcome back!! We are so excited to open the doors for shopping on Tuesday! This week and next week are ALL SCHOOLS weeks, so please sign up to volunteer if you can. Coolidge School week is October 22-26. Please sign up using the link below.
We are also now accepting donations! Please see below for more information on what we accept. Thank you for keeping our store full of sellable items.
Coolidge PTO Green Team - Walk and Roll to School Day
Our first school-wide Green Team event is Coolidge's Annual Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 2.
- Get some fresh air and leave your car behind!
- Walk or bike to school to get some exercise and reduce traffic and air pollution!
- Students will be greeted by the Cougar and some music upon their arrival on this fun kick-off to the school day!
Fun Idea: Reach out to your friends and neighbors to create a “Walking School Bus” from your neighborhood. Don’t forget about friends that live too far to walk, or are unable to walk with their child(ren). Invite them to be dropped off at your house so they can walk too.

YMCA After School Programs
The Wyckoff YMCA offers after school programs at Coolidge School. This Fall, two classes are being offered after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
