Theme Day!

Theme Day will take place on Friday, March 14th, 2025! This year’s theme is:

✨ “Discoveries and Dreams: Exploring the Past, Imagining the Future” ✨

Students in grades K-5 will journey through time, learning about the past and dreaming of the future. We need your help to bring this idea to life at Coolidge! Here are a few ideas for workshop inspiration:

Medieval Times
The Cities of the Future
Travel and Transportation
Wyckoff: Past, Present, and Future
The History and Future of Sports
Space Exploration
A Geological “Eras Tour”
Art History, Music History, Dance History.

These are just a few suggestions. Feel free to come up with your own unique ideas! Books such as The Wild Robot, Ada Twist, and The Magic Treehouse series, and The “Who Was…” books can be great sources of inspiration.

We have a limited number of workshops available, so please claim a room as soon as possible.

Monday, December 23rd – All Sport Camp at Superdome

Looking for something for your kids to do this Monday? We’ve got you covered! Sign up for Wyckoff School’s All- Sport Camp Day at Superdome in Waldwick!

The camp runs from 9am – 3pm on Monday, 12/23. A variety of fun activities will be offered in a supervised environment.

Lunch is included! Just send a water bottle and nut-free snack!

iReady Parent Presentation

The Wyckoff PTO Coordinating Council, Inc. and the Wyckoff School District invite you to join us virtually on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. for our live webinar presentation on Understanding your child’s iReady Parent Report. We are excited to have Tony Mahfoud, a curriculum expert, from Curriculum Associates to present on how iReady can help our children reach their highest potential. During this session, Mr. Mahoud will share an example of a parent report, and answer any questions you might have on how to interpret the scores and what to do at home to support your child. If you cannot make our live presentation on January 9th at 7pm, we will be recording the session and it will be posted on the Wyckoff School District website for your review.

January PTO Meeting

The next PTO meeting will take place on Thursday, January 16th at 9:15am on Zoom. A meeting link will be sent out in January.

Kids Night – Grades 4 and 5

It’s that time of year again! We need volunteers to join the Coolidge PTO Nominating Committee.

At the end of this school year, there will be several open spots on the PTO Executive Board:

What does the Nominating Committee do?

Works with our school community to identify and recruit potential candidates.

Receives referrals from the school community for potential nominees

Presents a slate of candidates for nomination.

Parents Night Out – March 1st

Here’s a message from our Parents Night Out Co-Chairs – Christina DeGennaro and Megan Wright:

Save the Date for Parents Night Out – March 1, 2025 at Bottagra!

Coolidge parents will get together for another fun Parents Night Out on March 1, 2025! Buffet style food will be served, beer and wine are included with a cash bar available. There will be a silent auction and games as well as music provided by DJ Gino! Look out for tickets to be on sale in early January!
