Lunch Orders - Due at Noon Today

Just a reminder that lunch orders for Jersey Mike's, Bagels, Pizza and Ice Cream are due today at noon. Unfortunately, we can not accept late orders.

Nicholas Markets service will begin this week. As a reminder, those weekly orders need to be submitted by Saturday evening.

Jersey Mike's and Midland Park Bagels will begin next Monday, September 16th. 

Wyckoff Pizza and Whistle Stop Ice Cream will start next Wednesday, September 18th.

 

Help Serve Lunch at Coolidge!

The lunch volunteer sign-up is active! PLEASE sign-up to help keep our Monday/Wednesday PTO-sponsored lunches a success!

And NEW this year - you can keep track of all your sign-ups, right on the PTO website! Click on your profile (on the upper right corner) and click on 'my signup receipts'! In addition, we will be sending reminder emails within 48 hours prior to your assigned day.

2. Volunteering is EASY!  We've streamlined the process even further!  Plus, there will be an assigned 5th grade representative who will act as manager, volunteering alongside you. Lunchtime volunteering is a great opportunity to help out, and also meet new people in the community.  Plus, it's an opportunity to see your kids while they're still excited to see you!

Upcoming PTO Meeting/ Newcomer’s Tea

The first PTO meeting of the year is this Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 9:15am in the MPR. In an effort to better meet the needs of our PTO families, we’ve condensed these two events into one! Our newcomer’s tea will take place immediately following the PTO meeting in the MPR. This is a great opportunity for all PTO members to learn about some upcoming PTO events, connect with other parents, and discover how to get involved at school. 

Child care will be provided. 

 

Book Fair Update

This year Coolidge is bringing in a new vendor for the book fair! Literati is coming to our school on October 15th and 16th! Students will shop during the day with their classes and parents can join in on the shopping fun during our evening hours on October 15th. You can attend the evening PTO meeting AND book shop on October 15th, how cool is that?! 

 

Online shopping opens September 15th at https://literati.com/store. You can browse all books, check pricing, purchase Digital Gift Cards (similar to a Digital Wallet from Scholastic where your child can use this money to shop at the in person book fair and online), and purchase teacher wish list books! We’ll have more information about how to do all this in the coming weeks, but for now browse the website and save the date for the Coolidge Literati Book Fair!

 

 

Golf Outing

Let's swing into a great school year and come join us on the greens for the 7th Annual Coolidge PTO Golf Outing on Wednesday October 16th, 2024  at The Club at Mansion Ridge in Monroe, NY.    (Please note date and venue change)  We are excited to once again host this fun outing to bring together members of our community. Economy Shop Update

Donations are now being accepted! We’re busy filling the shop with beautiful goods and will open for shopping on Tuesday, September 17th. The last two weeks of September are All Schools weeks, which means volunteers from all Wyckoff schools, including Ramapo and Indian Hills, can volunteer. Next week’s e-blast will include the link to volunteer, so be on the lookout!! We’d like to extend a giant note of gratitude to Linzie Peckis for representing Coolidge on the Economy Shop Board as the official Treasurer for the Economy Shop! Thank you Linzie!

 

The Economy Shop continues its hunt for two new Co-Presidents. The shop will remain open until December under its current leadership, but will then close unless we find two new Co- Presidents to lead us into the new year. YMCA After School Programs

The Wyckoff YMCA offers after school programs at Coolidge School. This Fall, two classes are being offered after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
