Attention Coolidge School Parents:
We need your help. 2 class parents are needed per class. Responsibilities include:
- Being the liaison between teacher and parents
- Collecting class dues and verifying class email distribution list
- Organizing class parties
- Volunteering for a shift at the PTO Economy Shop
- Attending monthly PTO meetings (A mix of daytime in person and evening zoom meetings)
(One class parent from each class expected to be at every PTO meeting)
- Attend class field trip (if applicable)
- Being the liaison between PTO and parents (assisting in getting volunteers for an event, sending an email to class with info from class parents heads)
- Creating class raffle baskets for a PTO event
- Volunteering for one lunch shift (10:45am-1:20pm) either pizza or bagel lunch (Monday or Wednesday)
- Volunteering for teacher appreciation week activities as needed
- *New this year - if selected as class parent and all requirements are met, you will be automatically selected to volunteer on Field Day (5/23 rain date 5/27)
If you are interested in being a Class Parent(K-4), YOU MUST complete steps 1 & 2 by the end of the day on Friday, September 6th
(*5th grade class parents will be chosen from the group of 5th grade reps.)

- Class Parent Selection & Class Parent Meeting
Class Parents will be selected by Monday, September 9th. Selected parents will receive an email notification by Monday evening confirming acceptance. Class Parent Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 12th in person after the PTO meeting and in the evening via zoom. First time class parents are required to attend one of these meetings.
